The HPR-Undergraduate program intends to bridge the gap from undergraduate to graduate levels in terms of skills development and professionalism in community development initiatives. It also targets the sustainability of enthusiasm and commitment towards the community empowerment that tends to be lost after graduation.

Goal:
To sustain professionalism and promote the continuum  of community oriented activities from undergraduate to graduate programs.

Objectives:
  1. To promote innovation, creativity and professionalism among young professionals
  2. To encourage skills implementation in order to meet community needs
  3. To promote talented young professionals to community development initiatives
  4. To create a real practical environment for skills implementation.
  5. To create opportunity of professional exchange opportunities between Rwandan students and students from abroad.

Activities:
  1. Community outreach sessions
  2. Exchange program in different hospitals open to International participants
  3. Trainings on various planning and life skills development, project management
  4. Conducting baselines research studies on issues surrounding the community

Opportunities

  4. Fellowships locally and internationally
