On very warm and beautiful sunny day,in the afternoon of Wednesday 27th March 2019,where HPR ( Health People Rwanda) members together with the students from GS Kivugiza gathered at playground GS Kivugiza near Nyamirambo (a pretty diverse and stretched-out neighbourhood, encompassing the southwestern corner of Kigali.) for Road Safety and First Aid campaign.
Around 3:30pm the majority of student had arrived. After everyone having a fan with music before campaign
School representatives welcomed each and everyone who take their time to come for the campaign and thank HPR to make this event happen. He also reminded participants of their role in road safety despite being a concept that majority of public didn’t understand its implications on health. It is something we should know as road user.
Students from health club also teach first aid to others students provide them with the essential skills that can be life-saving like first aid for simple accidents like burn not only that but also CPR, recovery position, imobilising fractured bone among the package of the day, every one were able to see how to provide such first aid skills.
Finally, school representative gave his remarks to the 550 students and teachers participants and he was very glad about the leap HPR in Partner with IMCC FAIR are taking, and encourage the students to keep practise what they have learnt. He also reminded them to spread the message they got to their parents, brothers, sisters and neighbour.
