Health people Rwanda in partner with IMCC FAIR is always campaigning to raise awareness of first aid and road safety because It has found that is a good way to provide people with basic knowledge because even the most simple skills can save a life and also knowing about road safety like follow traffic rules and signs will reduce mortality and mortality related to road traffic accidents.
On Wednesday HPR conducted campaign where students from health club trained by HPR volunteers on previous teaching session showed entire schools what they have learnt.

on previous teaching session showed entire schools what they have learnt.  Around 500 students and staff members of the schools were among the participants
The Aim of this campaign was to ensure that participants are aware of the importance of knowing traffic rules, traffic signs and  different first aid techniques like basic life support including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adult, management of severe bleeding, management of an unconscious casualty (recovery Position) that could be used during emergencies.
The campaign was really amazing as the students were so intensive to know more about first aid and school representative  really appreciate that HPR chose them among many schools in Kigali City and Productive collaboration with HPR.

To have HPR bringing us together and teach us about road safety and first aid it is something that we should appreciate. And I hope that the number of mortality cause by road traffic accidents in our country will be reduced because we are going to spread this message to our community. By  closing I want also to thank our students from health club for their commitment during the course of previous teaching session I am really proud of them they showed us what they have learnt with HPR volunteers. I want also to ask HPR if they can come next year again to teach this skills a new students.
